	The Burmester 113 D/A converter was designed in the course of developing the MMI module for our 061, 069 and 089 CD player models. The result is an independent D/A converter with maximum high-end quality, which not only features electrical and optical digital inputs but also supports wireless data transmission. The 113 has two digital inputs and two analogue outputs, as well as a Bluetooth? (even supporting aptX? codec for best sound quality via Bluetooth? ) and a USB input (class 2 audio) to ensure that you can enjoy all of your digital music sources in the best-possible audio quality. Moreover, the 113 contains balanced circuitry, with a fully DC-coupled signal path and no coupling capacitors getting in the way of the signal. The sophisticated analogue output stages obtain their signal from a converter stage of the latest generation, with switchable sampling rates (48kHz, 96kHz and 192kHz) to guarantee a highly defined and musical sound. In addition to the outstanding audio quality resulting from the D/A conversion, the 113 DAC features comfortable wireless integration of all audio sources equipped with A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) into an existing system. The 113 then functions as a Bluetooth? receiver and music is transmitted to the system by connecting a laptop, microphone, etc. to the Bluetooth? interface Music stored on an iPhone?, Blackberry? or other mobile telephone device can now be played back through the system via a wireless connection. This feature is extremely useful for ensuring uncomplicated and spontaneous music enjoyment in any situation. In order to achieve maximum sound quality with the limited bandwidth of a Bluetooth? connection, the 113 DAC supports the aptX? codec. Of course it is also possible to connect your computer to the 113 D/A converter via its USB interface. A USB connection supports the lossless transfer of uncompressed data, and therefore promises audio reproduction of the highest quality.
