Launched in 1999 the original Project Debut was the most outstanding budget turntable. There is one major factor in the Debut's success, SIMPLICITY. It played records, sounded great, and required very little set-up and is astonishing value for money and now the Project Debut Esprit Turntable takes the multi-Award-Winning Project Debut design and enhances it with an acrylic platter, improved motor and cartridge. The Project Debut Esprit is available in a choice of three, piano lacquered finishes, gloss black, gloss red or gloss blue

The Project Debut Esprit improves on the standard Project Debut model by using a larger heavier 12" precision made acrylic platter rather than the 10" pressed steel platter of the standard Debut. This brings improvements in terms of resonance control and speed stability and means the felt mat is no longer a requirement. It also has an improved Ortofon Alpha cartridge.

The quiet running decoupled AC motor with its two step metal pulley drives the Hub and Platter via a flat drive belt and plays at 33 and 45 RPM. The tone arm which has a silicon damped lift has an arm tube constructed from aluminium with tone arm bearings comprising of inverted hardened stainless-steel points.

Steel platter with felt mat and low-tolerance chrome plated stainless-steel axle runs on a polished ball bearing in a brass bearing housing.
